Melissa Betancourt, Law Clerk
Melissa Betancourt graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor of Arts degrees in criminology and anthropology. She is currently attending the St. Thomas University College of Law.
Before law school, Melissa assisted homeowners in need by settling numerous insurance claims at a public adjuster’s office.
Melissa has always been passionate about animals and has volunteered countless hours at the Humane Society since high school. She has incorporated this interest in her Law Review publications, focusing on novel animal laws.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling with her loved ones, playing with her five pets, and watching TikTok videos.
